Sustainability is a Priority
The Sustainable Artisan Guild is a community of artisans who are all looking to incorporate more sustainable and planet-friendly practices into all aspects of their business (and lives). It’s not about being ‘perfect’ and having all the answers. Instead, it is about a desire to do better, and having the resources to make conscious and informed decisions.
Think about all of the artisans in the world … potters, ceramicists, painters, leatherworkers, woodworkers, textile designers, etc…. there are A LOT of us all over the world. And if all of us take even small steps toward a more sustainable practice we can make a big difference not only for ourselves and our communities, but for future generations.
No one has ALL the answers, and we don’t pretend to either. But, we have a desire to have a lot more conversations around this topic and want to encourage collaboration and sharing of information & resources to help us all make a difference together.

(We are often asked if someone can contribute to the Guild to support artisans working toward sustainable practices even if they are not artisans themselves. The answer is, OF COURSE! We greatly appreciate and welcome your support! We will make sure your dollars are making a difference in our community.)
